Our Philosophy Statement

Our three guiding principles provide the foundation on which our philosophy is based, our service stands and educators practice. It acknowledges that tamariki and whānau are at the centre of everything we do.

We believe for tamariki to thrive, they need aroha and whānaungatanga. They need a safe and nurturing environment where all aspects of their wellbeing are supported, where respect is visible and different ways of doing and being are celebrated. They need to develop relationships where they know they are valued, and they have a place. For tamariki to excel they need an inclusive and inviting learning environment where they feel empowered, the concept of ako is embraced and PLAY is a must.
